Preparations shift to high gear as Davao City will host the Philippine MICE Conference (MICECon) on March 2023**.
Davao City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) Officer-in-Charge Generose Tecson, in an interview with the City Information Office (CIO), said that the MICECon will be sponsored by the City Government of Davao and co-sponsored by the Tourism Promotions Board.
“This was supposed to be in 2020 but had to be postponed due to COVID-19,” said Tecson, who had a meeting with the organizing committee on June 1, 2022.
It can be recalled that the city submitted its Bid Book to the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) of the Department of Tourism (DOT) on October 16, 2019, for the 2020 hosting of the event.
