The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, through its MICE Department, is now accepting bid proposals for the 2027 edition of the Philippine MICE Conference (MICECON).
MICECON is the country’s flagship platform for advancing the Philippine MICE industry. It serves as an educational and industry development platform designed to support the continued advancement of the sector, by convening local government units (LGUs), destination stakeholders, and key players in the business events sector. Hosting MICECON is a strategic opportunity for destinations to further strengthen their capabilities and accelerate destination development—through readiness benchmarking, stakeholder alignment, and stronger market visibility.
In particular, hosting MICECON enables the host destination to:
- Benchmark and enhance readiness across industry stakeholders using MICECON as a learning platform to adopt best practices and standards shared by industry experts and peers;
- Strengthen coordination among the provincial government, city/municipal tourism offices, and local industry partners in delivering MICE events— through knowledge sharing, best practices, and joint planning with the national MICE network;
- Showcase the local destination’s venues and experiences to a national market of organizers, associations, incentive planners, and industry stakeholders—while demonstrating capability and professionalism through actual conference delivery; and
- Generate business leads and long-term opportunities for future meetings, conferences, and incentive travel programs— supported by stronger destination competencies and improved market confidence gained through MICECON participation.
The bid to host the 2027 Philippine MICECON is open to Local Government Units and/or their MICE Alliances, Tourism Councils and Private Tourism Organizations/Establishments.

Kindly note that the deadline for submission of bid proposals is 20 April 2026.
Please be advised that submitted bids will undergo preliminary screening by the MICECON 2027 Organizing Committee and the Philippine MICE Advisory Council on 29 April 2026, during which bidding destinations will be requested to present their bid proposal to the Bid Evaluation Committee.
Bidders will be shortlisted based on the completeness and compliance of eligibility and documentary requirements. Only shortlisted bidders will advance to the final phase of evaluation and will be required to present their destination pitch, including a MICE audiovisual presentation (AVP) in September 2026 (specific date and venue to be determined). Kindly note that a maximum of four (4) representatives per shortlisted destination/bidder may participate in the final phase of evaluation.
MICECON bid proponents are expected to commit to the hosting requirements of the Conference and deliver the obligations as outlined in the MICECON 2027 Bid Manual.
